Fellas what tuh do when you get highly recommended to a Mech and he did a botch work?
Remember I went in to change the Front Seal which was leaking right, and we also changed the two Axel Seals one time.
Well now I'm leaking fluid again, this time its from the Axel.
Went by my Mech and he confirmed one of the Axel seals are bad.
The next Axel spitting out all the hard grease
He confirmed the Boot has no Strap securing it to the cup.
Also remember my Tranny mount had slight wear???
Well this is the kicker....one of the bolt/stud is completely missing and the mount has successfully buss way.
I also lost my Stonesheild, lost it from driving or jus negligence on the part of this assshole. Its the sheild that has the lil mudguard lip to the front of the tyre
On top of all this, I find I am loosening bolts with my hands on parts that I knew had to come off to fixed the Front Seal.
My Mech, who was one of the ppl who reccomended I go by this guy coz he was tied up, told me to leave the guy and move on coz it wont put me in a better position, Its just a Mount and Axel Seals. I say fcuk that and torch he MC down.
I going in he MC at 9am..Varoons Transmission Works opps SBCS Trincity |

A.W.O.L lol...i had school days too you kno...gasoline and styrofoam
Ok I went to him and told him the scene.
He said he will sort me out for free and he purchased a stone sheild to replace.
Quite frankly I told him thanks (hadda have some gratitude)
and that he's not touching my car again..
He said the stud for the mount got damaged when they were replacing it
I told him that that wasnt a reason for him not to say something when he delivered my car.
I went to a machine shop and got a brand new stud
Went and purchase a used mount...its in excellent condition and from good ppl.
Sorry beast, no time to rebuild, all the guts on this mount here outside.
Gonna go by my Mech in the morning and spend the day in car and grease and get my sh!t done the proper way. |

idlemind, glad you learning the hard way - lessons in life that will benefit you with future cars
when leaving your car by a mech, do so only with a mech you know and trust
them fellas, no matter how good, does do sh!t sometimes and not say anything
cuz to them u is just another $
a trusted mech will treat you liek a valued customer
and always inspect your car and work done esp after dealing with a first-time\first experience mech |

Yeah well It was a bit of desperation and urgency
The Tranny guy was highly recommended buy my Mech and my Straightner/Mech
Both of them dont know each other and both of them I trust with my car.
The thing is the Guy's place is well established like Jenton's setup in Aranguez, so I didnt think much about halfhazard work.
The car was delivered after it was finished because I didnt have any options to go for it. I never got a chance to inspect the mount nor did I thought I'd have to.
I knew the mount was bad and the leaking stopped.
Anyway, if my car ended up by RC as you suggested ahwile aback, I would, without hesitation, trust his workmanship because he came highly recomended.
Anyway as you said, I know now.
I guess its the same with you and Federal |

u giving out my secret formula...lol
but i glad he sorting u out for all the rubbish he did in the 1st place...
i dont leave my car by any1 to fix...ask for a day and time to bring it and i take down as much as i could to keep it functional...so it could be done in a day...cuz i tired hear them fellas swapping out parts off ur car an putting on some other use ting back on ur car...but we know better... |

damn straight bout me and them fawkers
but don't trust no mech no matter how recommended he is, not even mine
me and my mech have a relationship built out of years of doing work by him,
that is him and me
you and him, or anybody else for that matter may not have teh same experience
moral: no matter how highly recommended someone is, don't trust too much in them till you have firsthand experience with them
always check and double check esp with first time experiences
yuh moving up in experience ole fart |

turbo_beast369, no coilover will offer a comfortable ride
far less for close to stock, the purpose of the coilover is to tightenin up the shock, strut and spring by combining them to improve handling.
fellas I agree with rick here, DM parts get ridiculous
i think we hadda organise with W2J or SHO from now on.
get your part numbers in hand, they're on the first post on page 1 of this thread
same thing I thought ZeroOne |

turbo_beast369, the alignment fellas fix the knockin noise that is caused when the brake is half depressed.
Problem was a knot behind the two front rotor's was too tight so it was slipping thus causing the knocking noise, so they corrected the torque.
And problem solved.
I also did a a X rotate and balancing and cleaned all the rims front and back as well came up to 152.00.
Car didnt need aligning.
Car feeling like a X5 now. |

I dont know much about the knot besides that it is vertical and it was behind the rotor and it looked like it was connecting two rods.
They had to adjust the torque on both sides.
I could find out more about it and get back to you.
The girls who harass me are attractive |

if u doh like them harassin u....tell them come harass me.......
concerning d shocks...I feel I will go with the OEM shocks with d eibach lowering springs.... |
