REVIEW :
sub is dual 2ohms & rated at a funny 2000wrms 2500max - appears to be decent in build quality. Well d guy just bought the sub but the 1st owner said its not broken in as yet so im not sure but it does seem kind of firm
Sound - tested on my orion 2500d giving it about 1000-2000wrms max , sub seems to be rather power hungry in order to get some performance out of it ...
SQ with this 38hz tuning id say 6.5\10 - sure it will sound better with a lower tuning but this is what the customer wanted .
imho - the older hcca 12" was a better sub than this 1... |

This was Orion's highest end woofer in 2005-2006.
The current line hcca was released in 2008/2009
The H2 wasnt Orion's best work. Sub couldnt handle alot of power, and the local Orion dealers at the time, used the subs in the wrong enclosure and burnt down most of them.
I wouldnt hit this sub more than 1200 rms for daily |
