I WANTED TO REBUILD TO BACK DASH IN MY C32 LAUREL.....THE WANTED TO PUT IN A SHEET OF MDF AND PUT ON 2 10'' SPEAKERS. CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A GUIDE HOW TO GO ABOUT THIS???

I WANT TO REMAKE JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL...WITH THE AC VENTS AND SEAT BELT POCKETS..

PLEASE ASSIST ME.....

not too sure how the backdash in a laurel does look but the general idea would be this:

1) take out your original dash,

2) trace the outline and the holes for the ac vent / seatbelt pockets on a piece of mdf

3) cut the mdf in the shape of the outline.

4) mount bach in the car to check fitment. (may not fit due to mdf thickness, if that happens you just need to trim the edges until you get the desired fit.

5) tape off the pockets and fiberglass them to the mdf.

5) cut the speaker rings and get appropriate positioning

6) mount the rings with hotglue/screws.

7) stretch the fleece tightly over everything. (make sure there is no sagging)

8.) glass it (amount of layers depends on you)

9) filler and sand as required.

also, what are you trying to get from this dash? mids / midbass?
