ever since i pput in the engine it iidles high like 1100 -1400
after cleaning throttles, iscv changed plugs cleaned injectors it idling 1400
car is pulling gr88 but idling to high
ii cud get it down to a 1000 but that wuud mean retarding distributor all the way down and turning the afm screw all the way up it will idle at 1000 but it would be rough
any ideas i also adjusted the iscv to lower the idlle but it still to high..
my car doesn't have a checklight well i don't even know if the guy wired in the part to diagnostic check..
hhelp guys ii aslso checked all vacuum lines and they seem to be good..
another thing i also changed head and block and after installing it still idle high. so im thinking its either an electrical problem or tps because the new head and block came wiith sensors |

Wait... at 1000rpm, the idle is rough??
Check your engine mounts.
Is this "roughness" consistent, regardless of the idle speed? |

| What engine are you speaking about? I believe that it is idling too high because of vacuum leak on the intake side of the manifold. Did you replace the trottle body gaskit and intake manifold gaskit? It could also be sucking in air around the injector rubber in the intake manifold. Check the rubber to see if they are crack, damage or not seating properly. Also check the position of the TP sensor and the output voltage at idle as this can also cause high idling. |

| Get the DLC connected and then it would be easy picking to get a scan to know exactly whats going on with them sensors. Otherwise you wil have to get a volt meter and peel the wires on the TP sensor to measure the output. But also check the injector rubbers on the intake manifold to make sure air is not being suck in. I found this happening in a few rollas that cause them to idle high. |

| If you disconnect your AFM your idle will drop. The ECU would not know how much air is entering the engine and cut back on fuel supply. Try a ECU swap instead. |
