evo guys... reading evoscan logs...

Now gotten it so noob where it's concerened.

Basically I want to have an idea as to why my car pings from 5000 - 7000 rpm.

But I am not too sure how to read it properly. I have the log file if anyone's interested to have a look and let me know... it's about a 8 min log and did a 3rd gear pull from 2500 rpm around the 5-6 min mark.

ok u need to log about 3 3rd gear pulls from 3000rpm to redline back to back....

knock can be either due to too much timing or to lean AFR, i would guess too much timing is the problem in your case...need to look at logs to tell...

yer 3 back to back is so that the car becomes hot and you can induce knock...then tune around it... Wink

BTW how much knock counts are u getting and what are your mods...you can PM me if you wish....
