Good day all, apon building a new engine B18B, how do you go about priming the oil pump to ensure oil apon start up?

lube the cams a littke

disconnect dizzy and crank a few times

then connect back the dizzy and start

I will assume the engine is built properly and has adequate builders lube on all parts prior to build.

Disconnect injectors from harness
Pull out all spark plugs
**ENSURE THERE IS OIL IN THE ENGINE**
**ENSURE THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED**
Crank over engine for 5 seconds
Stop and wait for 1 second
Crank over engine for 8 seconds
Stop and wait for 2 seconds and repeat the crank and pause procedure for 5 more repetitions.


There are many other methods... the one above works fine for a brand new build.
