Greetings tuners
Anyone ever had this experience with fog lamps ?

This the 3rd set since I had the vehicle in 2 years and the all cracking ,

Why is that ?

Any suggestions ???

as in the lens cracking? getting brittle around the centre of the bulb position and then cracking? are u using a higher wattage bulb than stock by chance?

Yeah the lens Hook
No using normal 55W ....

eh heh? on stock fogs? whole thing getting discoloured and then cracking or is it getting brittle starting from the centre?

still even if it's heat stress, that's really strange...maybe u could use some kinda plastic polish or something to condition it?

Around the edges getting discoloured and the crack is straight across the middle ...

when you use the fogs did you ever get them wet after?

one day i drove from chaguanas to arima with fogs on and when i reach home i accidentally wet one side an it cracked right through from one side to the other passing thru the center.

original equipment fogs are made to use a 35w bulb

anything else would have the effects you are experiencing

some maybe.......I know mine are rated to handle a 55W bulb.....oem

Mine are rated 55W aftermarket china made fogs and one side is cracked as well, glass lens. I suspect it got like this after using them then encountering rain OR a stone... I have yet to find a dimple where the stone hit it if that's the case though. Doesn't leak through the crack anyway.
