anyone ever tried bridging 2 channels from a us amps xt 1600.4 to run at 2ohms daily???

I had one already.. Played nice and it was bridged however I sold it a couple days after as I was getting a deal on a Merlin Amp (spelling) Neutral

I doubt manual says 4 ohm bridgeable minimum, each channel can run stable @ 2 ohms though. You risk frying components if you run @ 2 ohm bridged, if not running at full power you may get away.

waz nice while it lasted















no i didnt bun it..

but it survived for 2 days though Laughing

i jus put the sub back in meh room..

that amp really got some juice!!

That amp runs extremely hot while doing 4-ohm bridged, it was not wise to run at 2-ohm!

Probably next time buy some liquid nitrogen and pour it over the amp you may get an additional day out of it Laughing
