I'm gettin a set of foreign used coilovers (shock and spring). These are no brand. They came off an Altis. The price they are going for is $5000.00.

Do you think this is a good deal?

Take a good look at the coilovers and take some pics. Look at the body of the shock and the actual springs to see if there is any serial numbers or model codes on them. I doubt they will be no brand. You have to have a bran in order to sell a product. I do find 5000 a bit high for used stuff. 2 things that scare me with used suspension 1. you dont know how they were treated, for all u know the guy who owned them used to hit level pot hole and bottom the sheit out of the shocks and they could be damaged. 2. coilovers tend to be adjustable damping as well as height and u dont usually get the tools to adjust the height or the damping so u end up gettin bull. On to the spring and shock combo i dont reccomend the tein s-tech because they lower the car too much and u will end up just blowing your shocks. You good to go with eibach pro kit or the H&R sport combined with as set of tokico blues or tokico HTS if u want to adjust damping. if you need more info p.m. me.

TRDcorolla WTF: hmmmmmmmmmmm..BHHHHHAAAAAAHHH. Vtec iymc Shocked
change that sign off u drive a celica. VTEC? Evil or Very Mad

H-tech are softer spring rate than the S-tech.

I had another look at the coilover set. They seem to be in good condition with no leaks. Pics were taken and will be uploaded by tomorrow.

In a sense yeah, but not a fixed lowered. I was looking at air suspension, an EDFC system or just the tein coilover set alone.

They look decent. Its a pitty there are no markings, so u will not know what the spring rates are. I like the fact its adjustable both at the spring seat and at the base of the shock. Make sure u get all the adjustment tools.

The adjustment tools are not included, the seller said I can have someone weld a spanner for me Neutral Is this EDFC compatible?
