Guys I am about to put alil music in the car. Its a wagon & I have a small amp 1200 w, sub with 12'' pios pre & a boss pre-amp & i am looking to buy speakers.
It have a speaker hole in the front doors but can fit only a 6'' or prob 6.5''
I wanna get some 8'' actually & the hole is too small so someone told me to get raisers or something so & another told me to buy 8'' pipeline & the black speaker box carpet & cut to size etc.
Can anyone give me some ideas or advice on how do i go about settin this up & installing the system? i know its a task but i really would like to know. how do i get the pipeline to stay onto the upholstery & wat to use to stick the carpet to cover the pipeline tube etc & how i gonna stick or screw the speaker down to the pipeline/ raisers etc. & also where can i put the tweeters?
I am not knowledgeable about car audio & i would really like to learn.
Thanks for your time & any feedback will be greatly appreciated. |

| considering the system you're installing i would advise you to install some reliable 2 way 6.5 inch speakers like infiniti, easy to install, just screw in, very little vibration and won't devalue your vehicle. those eights will require you use mdf of custom fibreglass work to keep weight down, pvc is heavy. if you still want to go with the 8 that will require fibreglass pods, as the mdf risers will have to be very high and unsightly to clear the window glass, or the use of shallow 8's. |

| The first question is...why do you want 8" speakers in front? Will you be supplementing them with other mid-range speakers etc? |
