Hey hey, Ive had an early SMC V1.90 sitting under my bed for years, finally getting round to attempting to wire it in...
Autronic's site has been 'coming soon' for about 12 months now. So i really have no clue to which is what (i have a blank loom for it but thats as far as ive gotten)
Its going into a 4AG ae86 - but im going to re-wire the whole engine loom, using none of the 30 year old crapness thats still there
so does anyone have a diagram and is there anything i should look out for wiring it in to an early efi toyota? |

The SMC comes with a completed loom. On a 4 cylinder application there are many wires from the loom that will need to be removed from the AMP Connector.
The V1.09 will require a new trigger mechanism for the cyl/pulse and cyl/ref as the older ECU's did not have multi tooth or missing tooth configuration.
CARVtech PC Ltd is the local agent for Autronic. If you need assistance check the web site, get the contacts and give me a call. |
