.... er wtf _ where is the port !?

answer is :

there is NONE - SURPRISE ! ....its a sealed box ! ....this is going into a daily driven car & owner wants more SQ than loud + to use up less trunk space too ...this is going to be facing back towards the trunk so cabin FTW !!! .... Very Happy

Here it is folks ! : 2 tone - grey with black front (just finished it this evening so pix were taken at night)

Review :

Well if u never heard of RE AUDIO then u are such a Newb ! - welcome to the real car audio world .

Simple in looks but its very well built & hefty too - Weight : 20 lbs. Like i said above : going after more sq than loud so thats why 2 10s in a sealed box was chosen .

Before building this sealed box i tried them in slot ported 32hz box i had laying around - man this thing POUNDS hard & deep ! .....sometimes its too unbearable with certain sounds - had some guys running out the car during a demo ... Twisted Evil

.... covering the front stage so ported is def too much for what we were after with this build .

For those who never heard a sealed well balanced set must at least try to listen to 1 to get a new perspective on music ....this things sound SWEET ! - sometimes still can get unbearable to some ppl on heavy bass rap sounds but play them with accuracy .... with 'late night tip' the u can hear as well as feel the low notes rolling out smoothly ....'young jeezy - hynotize' just hurts ur chest & makes u feel fuzzy .

Slow & pop songs like 'annie lennox - lovesong for a vampire' makes me love that deadly THUMP even more now ! . Wonderful surround sounding bass on songs by 'heart' : 'will u be there' & 'woman in me' Embarassed

(chick song but with a nice bass - try it !) , great on stuff from 'phil collins' & 'sarah brightman - deliver me' too

Sealed is not for most ppl but If ur into sq (even if u port this) then this SE model IMO is VERY good - worked with the 10" SX model (1000wrms) as well b4 ...this SE obviously is not as loud but drops lower & is more accurate ....i like it alot ! ...... Cool

^^^i checked the site...the se's come in 15" too....but i dont think the local dealer brings them in though....i never heard of any SE 15's locally

i now checked as well, but what I looking @ is the fact that sub cone different on the site.

600watt 15", sounds plausible for me.

slacker_jack, - if u upgrade to a 15 SX (can mod ur current box for it) & u get to hear how sweet that performs then u wont to hear about kicker cvr again & u not changing it out in a hurry ..... Wink

by 12volts they retail it around $1680 each ...some stores sell it for about $200 less ...i not advertising here but im liking up with a wholesaler very soon to get some in case anybody wants ...
