Its nothing to do with Nokia vs Apple, why do apple users get so defensive when you insult their latest fashion accessory. The iPhone is the death to the Smart Phone as we know it because now every phone must be made so that even a dumbass who swears by apple could use it without a problem.

Digicel usually shows a number instead of "Digicel" as the carrier - some ppl have experienced that after a while the number changes to the word Digicel.

my iphone is jailbroken....i have cydia and installer but i alrweady downloaded all the good stuff from cydia and installer have rell rubbish

how do i install installuous???..where i getting that???

also....i see on apple.com that they have an upgrade to 2.2 available...should i do it???...i have 2.1...i've heard that when u upgrade the phone locks or something???...does that only happen when upgrading from 1.1.* to 2.1???....or does it also happen from 2.1 to 2.2?

Installing Installous:
In Cydia add http://cydia.hackulo.us
Then install Installous
Then in Installous search for any App Store App you want & download via the sources available. Download 1st then Install.

Upgrading to 2.2:
More than likely if you update it will re-lock the iPhone. This is normal though. You'd have to unlock & jailbreak it again after updating it with QuickPwn. This link would help with that.

hey thanks i got through.....btw...it have any free applications on that installous??

most of them ting i pressing on is money....and i dunno how to purchase stuff... Confused

Funny, last time I tried that method I still ended up with some credit card error & this time I didn't. Hmmm, that's good that it works now.

0.9.5 Yellowsn0w is out and it fixes most problems guys. Upgrade pl0x.

Quick dirty guide:

Install via Installer repo: http://i.yellowsn0w.com/
Reboot
Wait 30-60 Secs before you touch the phone
Slide Airplane Mode On-Off
Enjoy.

You should no longer need to ssh into the phone.
