Together with Dutch Suspension firm AST, PowerStation produced a completely new suspension and chassis setup that transforms the Subaru's ride and handling. The carefully valved AST suspension soaks up all that the UK roads can throw at it with better control and quality. The softer ride also makes motorway trips far less bouncy and more relaxing. As the AST suspension is adjustable (12 way), you are able to tailor the suspension to your driving style. Small gold adjusters at the end of the strut allow the damping to be changed within seconds. The same suspension setup was used recently on a Factory supported Spec−C Impreza at the Nurburgring 24Hr Race:

Some Questions:
What octane is the car tuned to run on? What turbo is that? Is the last map boost as measured in Bar? If so...it hitting some big numbers....I seeing 2.35 from 3200-4800.
The Good: Very nice...it's definetly a complete package. I love the fact that you don't have to get dirty to adjust the damping. No EBCs, piggybacks...just reflashed reliability. The torque is especially nice, right where you want it....but wouldn't expect any less with such high displacement and boost.
The Bad: I've seen more impressive numbers out of mivec 4G63 running 2.3 Stroker and stock turbo @ slightly less than 2 bar. We talking about 500lb-ft @ 3500 rpm/400whp @ 4000 rpm. The difference here is WAI is being used...but I'm sure similar numbers could be achieved with higher octane petrol.

1. Most of the cars are running a Modified Stock turbo...but at customers request they have custom spec T28; GT30; GT32 and GT35. Part of what making the car ride so compliant yet handle soo well is the thicker, adjustable anti-roll bars, modified subframes, and increased castor angles
Kinda made me wish this company did the FQ with their great attention to detail. with the | | Click for full-size. |
2. As to actual details on the map....they haven't really released information on that.
3. Fuel....my guess its UK premium like the FQ-400...95 (Eurosuper) and 98 (Super Plus) octanes. |

It will be 98ron in the UK, the good importers remap all JDM models from 100 to 98, they dont play around with that issue there.
Theyve been building these type-25s for a while now, even before the recent UK models got the 2.5 engines, using yankee blocks. |
