| if cost is a factor, i would strongly recommend the Audiopipe APMB 8.. they get pretty loud and sound great!
http://www.audiopipe.com/images/catalog/46.jpg if you are looking for louder, look more towards the Italian brands.. |

i have a pair of the CD44K comp drivers and love how they sound..

you could use a pair of Passive crossovers coupled to both the, for example, APMB 8"s and the CDK44's to cover a wider range of frequencies.. take a look at a previous setup i had.. notice the passives on the back of the mid / high range box.. the advantage of using passives is you will not have any impedance - amp matching issues while using 2 pairs of speakers.. |

| Sweet! What made you want to change that setup? Would you say you were missing certain frequencies or was everything properly matched? |
