#1: Damageed Cylinder lock for EK4 Author: live67, Posted: Sun Jun 28, 2009 2:23 pm Someone tried to break into my car and they messed up the driver side key cylinder lock in the door.
Any advice on where I can get a replacement and a lock smith to match the cylinder lock back to my original key.
I have a EK4 Civc.
Thanks.

#4: Author: live67, Posted: Tue Jun 30, 2009 8:01 pm Not only that, the force they used to break the lock, warped the area of the door right around the key hole (where the cylinder is meant to fit into). Only this afternoon, I saw it because of the angle of the afternoon sunlight.
And the way how things going, I have to thank God, that I didn't come and see them, for them to see me, seeing them, or that they didn't try to carjack me....(RIP Camille, the soldier's wife)
#5: Author: phreakazoid, Posted: Sun Aug 09, 2009 12:39 pm You will need to purchase a foreign used door handle inclusive of lock and take it to a locksmith to have it re-keyed to your other locks. I do this sort of work so I know that it can be done.
