If price is not an issue use auto guage by AutoMeter Exclamation

cacasplat3 Great info there from the archives! (Copy and paste) I did have some of that in mind, but the thing is - the interpretation of the readings is what one need to be schooled up on. Idea

Ive used a variety of gauges - Prosport, autogauge etc. I can tell you from practical experience that Autometer is the Best by Test

I think I'd go with autometer. I was hoping to get some more good reviews bout prosport since its much cheaper.

Tired_Accord, Thanks for the input. The car is a modified car, but I am new to tuning it. So I wanted the air/fuel for tuning. It is a naturally aspirated engine so I am not sure how useful this can be for tuning.

To do proper tuning, you'll need a wideband.

i have a prosport water temp gauge, only because my car came with the blue light=cold and red light=hot setup, i did'nt trust that too much, so i had the gauge installed to keep proper track of temp, had it about 1 1/2 years now with no probs, but i plan on changing soon to apexi i-moni, i find this to be better as there is no need for splicing wires and no separate sensors and adaptors are needed, it just plugs into the odb port and is read directly from the ecu

Bear in mind that the Apex-i imoni works with OBD-II only (it seems).

Isn't it true that the Apexi-i-Moni only monitors four parameters: Engine RPM, Water Temperature, Intake Air Temperature, and Vehicle Speed, and that if you want to monitor other things like oil pressure, oil temperature, voltage, etc. , you will have to get gauges instead?

Are there any Apexi monitors that can monitor much more parameters than just Engine RPM, Water Temperature, Intake Air Temperature, and Vehicle Speed?

the i-moni is for mainly monitoring basic parameters mostly for NA cars, for a wider range of paramters you can look at the greddy informeter or the apexi rsm

Informeter (I use one) and other similar devices which run off the OPBD2 port (Blitz R-Vit etc), can only display what information the ECU on the car is logging.

E.g. WHen I plugged in the Informeter into the Primera....I didn't get readings of throttle position, and ignition advance etc. HOwever, I get all those readings on another car.
