Pioneer Image Dynamics is a Great Sub dread. I don't know why you like to work up yourself? Image is a far better SQ Sub than MTX. Its just overall MTX hits hard as well delivers Sound Quality.

Thats all i was trying to say.

"Well i dunno, seeing i been researching and following Image for 7 years now and jus didn't decide to jump on board the fanboy train like most of these n00bs...buh eh...wha i sayin...i dunno nuttin " - GROW UP

thats the ting..unless its ID or Alpine, isnt "ghetto" equipment to you right..

try and be more open minded and not small minded...

if someone comes now with a pioneer 307 sub and makes it sound way more musical than ur IDMAX 12. i`m sure u gonna have some lame excuse for that...

which by the way is possible...

It's pretty hard to beat the sound from a JBL sub ! one of the most defined subs i've ever used

i think that the JBL GTi subs are the best all round subs out there, they are extremely efficient, will take you out with the lows in a ported box, and are feafly accurate in a sealed box.

I own 2 10" and love them alot, also i heard 2 12" and i want to own those rell soon.
but all in due time.

I wanna get my hands on a audiopulse axis though, i think i might like it. If i had to trade my subs i would go with those.

1. does not need a fridge-sized box
2. needs less than 1000Wrms to get on
3. is pretty loud (depening on box) and gives crazy low end extension

more or less fits the parameters given before...

and not that expensive either.
