Hi folks,

Could you tell me what is a reasonable price that I should pay for a 2005 Honda Civic with sun roof. It's a low mileage car in almost original condition- no added features such as mag rims etc.

Thanks Damien, I notice some of the local cars have EXI or VTIS written on the back. What's the difference?

The vtis i think is the 1.7l and the vti is the 1.6l i really dont know bout the exi you wouldnt regret it just check the car real good before you buy for accidents,engine work and how the transmission working these cars works very well with little maintenance

I hear you Damien,. I did preliminary checks last Friday, and it so happens that it was owned by a company exec. in a company my good friend works for. He was directly responsible for it and knows it inside out. The mileage is only about 30,000kms +. So far it looks ok. I going back tomorrow to do thorough check

if its cvt,just change the fluid on time and with honda genuine cvt fluid #Fade in

30000km Shocked

hoss thaiz ah good buy that cyar practically new my civic is at 105000km and i only change the shocks so far and other normal services

dont forget the 05 civic also came in d15b non vtec too. so check the block to see which engine it has.
i think if im not mistaken 1.6 vti and d15b non vtec are jdm and the 1.7 vti-s was from singapore.
to my knowledge singapore and japan engine are made up sligthly diff and parts for jdm are always easier. but if is not for running hard you wont have any probems cause honda doh give any problem. trust some one who has a family with almost every generation civic.
