If you are not getting any drivability problems and your ECU did not get wet or jumpstarted your ECU may not be bad. Try scanning it manually yourself or get someone to do it for you. You can get all the details and codes by visiting batauto.com or any other internet site by doing a search on how to scan a Toyota without a scan tool. This works for all OBD1 system on Toyota. I have done it many times on this model.
