#16: Author: ingalook, Location: PakaskasPosted: Fri Sep 12, 2008 12:12 am ^^^ I agree
#17: Author: GeneralHonda, Posted: Fri Sep 12, 2008 9:22 pm I disagree. I have an 1.8 2008 with no regrets. Every dollar spent has been worth it. Guess its a matter of taste.
#18: Author: x2floor, Location: P.O.S., Trinidad, W.I.Posted: Sun Sep 14, 2008 10:17 am ^^^ofcourse, whichever grade you got its money spent on an excellent vehicle with good quality, reliability and resale value. Please if you don't mind, share with us the features that your car has and what was your invoice price.
what I don't like is that the USDM model has side and curtain airbags and others like the Mitsubishi Lancer and Mazda 3 have features that the Civic actually lacks totally regardless of market and are priced cheaper! Granted some may say cause its a Honda but in developed markets the pricing are all similar. Its only in Trinidad where they price Honda on the same ball park as Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz etc especially if we include the Accord and Legend.

#20: Author: GeneralHonda, Posted: Sun Sep 14, 2008 7:50 pm I agree bout the airbags but the way our ppl drive, i think you need more than airbags.. nothing short of a tank i would say cuz airbags can only do so much. But when I was buying I looked at the Corolla and Lancer (yea i strayed a bit cuz of the civic's price tag). When I called Toyota the Corolla 1.8 was $215,000.00 approx. and the Lancer 2.0 was $205,000.00 approx. The lancer had more hp with 2.0 L putting out 152 hp and the corolla putting out 132 hp with the 1.8L. The civic 1.8l puts out 140hp. I agree the price tag is higher but to be it ended up the better choice. The civic has 17" rims calling a high price of $1,600.00 per rims + vat rubber not included (you gotta source your own). If you got any question feel free to ask.
