there are a few products you can use, the easiest to get is lithium spray grease. and yes shaks, if the spot you grind off isnt protected, it will rust.

4 gauge fine strand is sufficient
after connections are made coat exposed surfaces with electrical grease
the same that is used on battery terminals

KnuKonceptz has the most amt of strands i've seen, 0/1 ,5145 strands

everybody who boasts about more strands etc

nobody does tell yuh bout the cost

lets see

audio pipe 0 gauge probably has the same strands as say a stinger high end 4 gauge or even less

i use Jl audio 2 gauge and it has more strands than most of the 0gauge on the market presently and is more flexible and easier to work with than the others
however the cost is probably almost twice as the 0 gauge

right so diff brands have diff # of strands for the same class of wire s0 is more strands better or can that be a bad thing sometimes - im thinking good > more juice...

JL n KnuKonceptz have over 5000 strands but the price... so for best price/strand ratio i say stinger Embarassed
