chunas wha scene i'v taken some long and hard consideration into this and decided im finally ready to do a engine swap. however jus for a lil more advice, seeing that civic configeration is different, whats the best most affordable boosted engine and box to go with, personally i dont think it make sense not going boost.............lemme know what u guys think............thanks in advance............

You can boost a d-series with stock internals and achieve some excellent results.
I am not sure who has done this locally, but browsing through a lot of foreign forums, seen a couple of those.

D15b Single cam VTEC
small turbo (8-12 PSI max???)
exhaust mani, + piping
thicker head gasket to lower compression
realistic intercooler (dont really need a massive FMIC)
proper Engine management.
possibly upgraded ignition
upgraded fuel delivery (aftermarket fuel pump and FPR)
gosh, i am not a mechanic by any means, so i may have left a couple critical items.

2nrs, any more?

some one on tuner had a d16 i think--- non vtec----- t04 turbo not sure the boost but stock internals making close to 200whp. thas a hell of a lot in a civic btw if you wondering
