d shallowest pro audio driver is what about 4-6" deep ? ...i really want to see how that fits on a front door
how about using a bullet tweeter instead of d driver & still doing d 3 way idea in ur front doors - wud be some custom work to get that to fit ... u cud use a 6xs of building ur own xover
d dls 8s i was talking about : well if u want loud throwing a mile away from d car vocals its not 4u (go buy some 18sound 8s or something) but within a reasonable distance maybe 10ft away from d outside of d car its loud enough to hear & very clean ...most front doors wont hold a 8" without some kind of mod ....SR is d dls agent & he have a price list for it in his thread which is in d car aduio FS section
my advice : if ur a limer who likes hearing ur LOUD music alot on d outside of ur ride from a distance especially then car speakers may not satisfy u , better u go d pro audio speakers route instead ..... |

| OP, let me paint a picture for you.... I have JBL GTO627's in my front doors (one pair 6.5" co-ax) and one pair SS dome tweeters, 12" sub tuned to 33Hz. At a lime with some friends I had the system playing moderate volume with doors opened towards us and trunk open- we were at least 30ft away from the car and it was loud enough to enjoy. It sounded like civilized MUSIC rather than noise. Since the onset of pro mid a lot of ppl seem to under-estimate the capabilities of tuned co-ax. |

i think da go be rell loud, and you have all but the 10" and 2 6", on a amp that you could turn off when the car is being used daily, and for the shows and thing you could open out and turn on amp for the rest of 6/8"
And i have rell room on the door, is a 2 door range rover classic. |

| could you do a setup like that (without the 10") in the doors and enter in soundoff?? i mean all those 6" could give you some extra bass especially in smaller categories like single 12... (sorry to go off topic) |
