Shaolin,Thanks for the response...but was seeing ya changed out oil seals in tranny etc....you think this can be avoided on my part seeing I am now on 40k....or is it at sme point you MUST change out those seals due to excessive heat the tranny gives off?

I figure at some point they gonna start leaking but for me it was a matter of the tranny coming down to change the rear engine seal.. might as well change out the tranny seals and done the talk because i think the tranny would also have to come down to change the oil pump seal.

@40k i would say you now start to drive that car dude ! If is a roro i would suggest at least checking the timing belt in a while.

ironically enough, albeit hard to believe my RORO apparently came wit genuine mileage initially as all belts, timing belt inclusive still have the markings on them, in addition to what the Tranny guy told me when he was flushing out my tranny.....he says based on how the internals/oil condition upon flushing he suspects my car may be genuine mileage..I even got the interior smelling like close to new, and 4 Hankook tyres, with the two front tyres giving the impression that it really came from singapore with 23k on the ODO.....engine still maintains perfect compression as on during the day if I now start the car the muffler spitting water still...who knows? So my Lancer is back on the road, I bought an ACDelco non maintenance battery.
It is 700 cranking amps....IS THAT SAFE?

your stock alternator on generates roughly 80amps (open to correction) so that's all u will get.....u may just get a slightly faster tumble when ya starting up.

IDLEMIND......dam....I 4got ya don't have L gear..but I hear ya point

RPM does jump about 2000 at start up and then drops down to normal.
Thanks!

The silver CS got a oil change using amsoil 10w-40 and also decided to change the plugs

The Black CS got a transmission flush I used the SP III because there is still no solid fact that I could use the Dia queen CVT fluid

investigated a quart of the CVTF J1 today

the bottle does NOT mention anything about the compatibility with SPIII

so fellas, this ca$h conscious fella will maintain his F1C1A trannies with teh SPIII, until i receive conformation from credible sources tha teh J1 can be used

Can parts be bought in the Central Office in Lange Park?

I need to change a couple engine mounts.

Think I heard someone mention that they brought in some new mounts that are more durable.
Is this true?
