18" Juggs Box ...

Done for a tuner yesterday

since my d\cam fell down & is shorting off, i didnt have 1 to take pix with during d actual build

sub : 18" mmats juggernaut (1400wrms dual 2ohms model)

built using 1 inch MDF ...yep 1 " !!! ....

braces are 3\4" mdf .... internal view before sub goes in

Completed ! ...it looks rather small from d pix eh

10" 'coaxial' mids made to go with this sub .... Laughing

^^^that is 1 10" Eminence Beta & 1" Power Acoustik bullet tweeter in each box ...plays good\loud when u around it but cannot keep up with d bassline if u gallerying so d owner said he will put it in his bro's car & get some more powerful mids to match later on as $ permits ....

this box (& d damn sub too) is @#$!ing HEAVY & poor me alone by myself really catch my @SS to build & lift this .....but it came out quite LOUD for a single sub .

..tuned 41hz yet sounded lower than that (probably about 38hz) & was shaking a door on d 2nd floor here about 150ft away not to mention my gate which was trembling & car alarms going off

end up making me & my neighbour quarreling bigtime since it was bugging him bad while i was testing it .... Twisted Evil

...but he does put a DJ in his yard for carnival so frig him ..... Razz

owner was pleased & i too am happy how it came out sounding & looking....... Very Happy

oh, looks real good ... its a dual slot box i wanna do like that for my RE but if u see d ridiculous port length i have to do to get 32 hz , steups, oh well

hey thanks guys !

mids box is sealed - could have made it more elaborate but instead kept it simple ...guy wasnt expecting it to come out that well .... Very Happy

had to weld up a steel cart to move it from my work table to d car for testing (used to be a welder but left it out because of d constant heavy lifting)

im really glad i finished it because my back was under some stress during d build ..... Mr. Green
