| yeh fellas,,,i put in an engine an gbox in my car,,to replace the engine n tranny i had bfore...i am using the stock ecu frum the auto tranny...wat do i have wire up in order to get the vtech t work?? also would the auto ecu provide enough fuel for the bigger manual cams?? |

i think u should get the correct ECU.
it can be done, but it is a 'mango tree' hack. |

^^ agreed. It operates differently in a number of ways. and its VTEC.
Check Ana Sole for the ecu. |

honestly hoss here whaz d rell scn..i convert to box and had the same problem...my car is OBD2 and all of the manual brains that i get my hand on are OBD1 so it cya wok...i got a really reputable electrician to wire it in and it works great...pm if u'd like more info...  |

| well the reason y i didnt use the ecu was bcuz the whole harness was different,,so i swapped the intake manifolds an used back my original harness and ecu... |

| I think you had the same issue as ksimon, you had an obd1 engine then bought an obd2. You may not be getting vtec because you have a code. Have someone diagnose it and and see. Is your engine check light on? |
