Call Jerry's (St. Augustine) 663-2231 during the week, even better check him. He'll advise you.

Question: I understand essentially how a turbo timer works, but, not having one, I assume youhave to leave the vehicle in neutral for it to work right?

If this is the case, I always leave my vehicle in gear...

Wink

I might as well wait the 30 seconds for it to cool down then huh?

Also, I slow down the last 2-3 km of my journey to assist engine cool down. So maybe a timer ain't for me?

Fair enough... it's up to you (keep it under 80kmh) for the last minute or so and gradually slow down.

if yuh handbrakes working good, is no problem to leave it in neutral, but i understand what u saying bout yuh habit.

btw, there are sum timers that require that the hand brake be engaged, if not the engine turns off when u turn off the vehicle(so it works like there is no timer installed)

when we bought the ranger, i had the tubotimer installed - the way i see it even if you forget to leave the truck idle for 30 sec - the turbo time will do it for u - to me its one less thing to remember to do exiting the ranger.

k.c.151, nah the timer won't void the warranty. as for rim size, you would have to check with the salesman.
