I was told that the Treo is around $2300 2400 for that sub so that rules out treo.

IMO!!!

dd, doh expect anything extravagant under 40hz,but will get loud

the p3 mmats is a good speaker, well built and strong and will hold up to it's name

re se,thats ur bess bet there, very good speaker overall and it will put out alot of lows and get loud in the correct box

why not use a t1 12",it is also a very very good speaker and also the jbl 1200w gti

in that case u shud consider the mmats, it hav a tendency of going loud yet hittin dem deep lows, if u decide the mmats tune around 38hz Wink

well southside posted close to what i was gonna post

dd - not really a low bass sub made more loud , below 38hz tuning it loses some output

p3 & treo about level but i always prefer to have headroom on a amp so i wont put a 750wrms sub on a 800wrms amp

imo for d power range go with d SE or T1 ... Neutral

all them fellas posted all you need to know but as for me i dont like the mmats p3's (i dont like how they are built)

treo (nice sub) but as rovin say head room is good

dd is good also but i would go with the RE SE to maintain some lowss, RE SE thats ur best bet there..

or you can try the DC Audio Level 3 sub (as demboyz recommended) or RF T1 ( as rovin and south side recommended)

thanks for all the input guys, im heading in the direction of the RE or Mmats, as (...Rovin...) said about the headroom but just incase i wanna upgrade my amp in the near future i may buy the mmats bcuz of the higher power handling. Anyone knows the price of an RE SE 12" & can i get a number for that sound effects place.
