Went by my partner's father yesterday and saw an ever popular nissan sr20 with automatic transmission on the ground.

Put the tranny on neutral and when i spin the axel both sides moved forward, likewise backward Confused so i'm thinkin LSD!

The distributor is short and has some kind of external coil!

The code on the head is 53J and the thing that have me a bit confused is the colour of the cover.............it's kind of dutty goldish, not silver but a kind of goldish!

Could it be an Autech?

*sry bout the colour description, have pics will upload later*

Any idea sr20 fanatics?

Thanks.

had one of those (the turbo version) in the lancer that i had, before it blew

its the distributor and an external coil

scrapping it out for parts and came across the same thing. my pardner was confused as well when he say the distributor, cause he was expecting coil packs
