WTK: Speaker power splitter

Scenario: need 8 ohm so I am wiring 2 4ohm speakers to do the job, however 1 is rated @50 rms and the other @125 rms, output from amplifier is 100 rms, how do I get the 50 rms speaker to use only 37.5 and the 125 rms speaker to use 62.5 rms?

i wud use d smaller wattage speaker 2 play a higher frequncy

naresheep, what you are looking at there is an L-Pad, which has to be properly designed to attenuate one speaker.

An l-pad is a passive device which lets you control the output level of speakers without changing the impedance seen by the amplifier. A constant impedance is not really necessary for the amplifier but if you are using passive crossovers, a constant impedance is necessary to prevent the crossover frequency from changing.

besides the sensativity of both speakers will be different as well as the thiele small
parameters
