I got an 8000K kit from my uncle. But I asked for a 6000k.
Want to know if I get the 6000K bulbs, would the same wiring and harness and stuff be able to be used.
Just change the bulb to get thje 6000K.
Would that be a problem or not ? |

you can't just get the entire kit changed? |

Well I think it might be cheaper to get the bulbs alone.
Selling the kit or trading it for the 6000K may be difficult. He brought it from FL so exchanging it out of the question. |

It's a 35w.
Thanks for the info guys.
Now another question.
I dunno if it's single or dual beam ... but if it is single beam, would using the dual beam bulbs work with the kit ? |

it is not the same if the bulbs have different wattage
there are 55w bulbs and 35w bulbs
depending on the dual beam set up
some set ups have a regular halogen high and a hid low
or hid low and high
the hid low and high usually has two seperate ballasts |

| if its single, dual bulbs would not work. however its its dual u can use single bulbs. if u bought 8000k single beam kit, u can swap for 8000k single bulbs. i experimented with all those possible combinations on mines and it worked. |
