WTK: Purchasing a second hand benz

Folks,

I'm thinking of purchasing a second hand ML270 (2.7L Diesel benz).

For all you benz drivers out there, what should I look out for when buying such a vehicle?

pay a good Benz diesel mechnic to look at it for you , make sure no SRS light is on ABS etc.

if its the previous generation then those were notoriously unreliable
