Hey i've got a pair of projector headlights but realised they didnt come with any indicators, just the space where they should go. after that i realised it isn't just the bulbs that were missin but the whole socket where the bulbs should go... can anyone tell me how i can get indicators in this headlight? where to get the sockets if thats what i need.. Sad

i have aftermarket projector headlights on my 2000 honda civic i was just wondering if it is possible to put HID bulbs in these headlight there are 2 H1 bulbs per light. is it safe to put an HID kit on these aftermarket headlights?
Also there's an H1 for low beam and and H1 for hi beam does this mean i would have to connect 2 kits? and would this generate more heat than the halogen bulbs?

hmmm as far as i know the original sockets shoulda work back ( hmmm or did i get sockets wit mine) i will hadda check, i think thats how i did it, N ive read the HIDs are not really recommended on the projector lights cause the heat will damage the leds that lights up the Halo Rings aka Angel Eyes, infact on the box the projectors came in it said "Not Recommended to use with HIDs"

but don't HIDs produce less heat compared to halogen bulbs since they consume less power? check this out.

so guys, instead of placing the hid bilb in the projector, can it be placed in the high beam side wich has no projector, would that work owing to the fact that they say the hid bulb is too close to the projector lens. Or will it still affect the halo?

The reason for not putting HIDs in aftermarket projectors has nothing to do with heat. those LEDs dont have a very long life span anyway, they that cheap.

The thing is, aftermarket projector housings are designed for use with regular halogen light, not HIDs, so putting HIDs in these housings may actually give poor light output compared to a good halogen bulb.

A good set of bulbs and properly aimed projectors and you good to go.
