let me say a lil more since i was busy b4

u know these monitor boxes are really for DJ use but we trinis like we ole noise so we try all kinda ting to get more loud

im not really a DJ man but from d designs i have seen online from various manufacturers d enclosures have some size & even though u have a wagon u still might not have enough place INside for it ...(2008 MK finals at pier 2 i had [2] 24" tall x about 24" deep x 18" wide monitor boxes i made just to fit on my front seats for that show ...Embarassed ...those on here who heard it cud tell u how it sounded but that was just for that show i used it since it took up my whole back seat to carry it)

DJ mids are most effective when u standing in front it but have a limited sound dispersion so wont get d full effect if u standing a certain angle off from where its playing , i sure u experience that already , so its harder to get d full effect in d confines of a car

just like any other speaker u need to put them in enclosure whether it be mdf or f\glass to get a 'fuller' response & for ppl to get them to work in cars they usually make whatever enclosure cud fit in d available space they have - might not be d best but they have no choice ...
