guys i`ll like to have some help here..
i`ve got a pioneer 4100
soundstream 7x0
audio logic 600 watts powering.. 2 8`` betas 8A.
power acoustic 1200 watts 4 channel pushing 1 12`` american bass dx..
rca`s are stinger & kenwood.
power wires are 4Guage..
THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN SWITCHING OFF THE CAR I HEAR A LOUD **POP**....
CAN ANY1 SUGGEST SOME IDEAS TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING... |

| It could be that the amp is not a "silent" turn off/on. |

having the same problem. i realise it happens with certain head units..
i suspect it can be remote or the amp itself? |

| Most of the time it's the grounding...had similar problem...i'll never use seatbelt bolt as a ground in my life again |

| Yes, check your grounds from the headunit RCAs all the way to the amps. |

try shorting the inputs of the various parts with shorted rca plugs and see if it still happens to do a process of elimination
start from the frontest piece of equipment eg eq then move back to amps |
