hey tuners I need to know if the EK3 AC parts can work on an EK4? Parts like the compressor and stuff?

compressor on ek4 is a different make and bigger than the ek3,don,t know if the other parts can work.

no it is not interchangeable.

a b16a compressor is nearly impossible to find.

Check SR, i dunno if he still has one.

yep, and i believe that the compressor from the EK4 is slightly different from the EG, the pulley is larger (i think) and the top plate may have to be swapped.

this is just in case you get your hands on a b16a compressor from the EG9 b16a

do u know anyone that does repairs to them? cuz what happened to mine is that it was bent inwards and the fan cant turn so i'm not sure if it could just be bent in the opposite direction and then the fan will turn freely again or it dead

Yea compressor is different. D evaporator, condenser, fan and sum lines will work back. Compressor i expensive. However u can get them cheap on ebay. I dunno d laws abt importing it tho.

never imported one,but i may have to get one next year,along with a condenser and receiver/dryer. i believe you need to add a measured amount of refrigrent oil to the compressor before attaching the lines and regassing.

is the condenser the one that looks like a small radiator?
if yes its the condenser thats bent
