OK like the topic says, does anyone know in particular where I can purchase a gearbox or do you have one to sell.....I kinda need one ASAP. Any info in the right direction will help.  |

Try SJ Auto in El Socorro: 638-4435.
Are you doing a conversion or did you buy a lemon? I had an Accent for 10 years and 343,000km and never had any problems with the gearbox. |

| I changing over from transmisson to gearbox.....I fed up with them damn transmission. This is the second tranny I have on the car and now it slipping, them thing problematic and costly... I tried SJ Auto $4000.00 the man say and that is not with everything..... anywhere or enyone else have? Going and try Korean Auto Supply |

The automatic transmissions in those first generation Accents are known to be problematic.
Good luck in finding a manual transmission.
An alternative is to throw a Nissan B14 engine and transmission in it. |
