Hey I just checked the CARS website to confirm the next Solodex date... but the site doesn't seemed to have been updated in a while.
It is true that most of the interaction occurs here at Trinituner but I think that some still accept the official website info as the official word.
Just my 2 cents. |

^^^true the site has been a bit slow when it comes to updating
i guess the guys have a busy schedule as they don't keep the site updated.
i suggest the following:
--> either the people responsible start doing their job
--> change the current people and choose some others that will actually update the site
--> get rid of the site altogether

With limited time and a full schedule it can be easy to let the smaller things slip so as to concentrate on the more important issues. So maybe it should be added to the constitution that website updates be confirmed at every executive meeting. Or make an executive decision on a particular day every month (via e-mail... no need to actually meet) on updates for the website. Remember that some months there may be no updates necessary or sometimes just the upcoming event or last results can be updated until more detailed updates can be decided.
When I was on the executive there was no website so some of these "housekeeping" items may not have been considered. |

That's what sub-committees are for.
I suggest a sub committee with the sole priority of website updates. As such the executive simply has to review and authorise or send back to the sub committee for changes. |
