d man say 4000rms

which means 4000 watts regular playing

wow

that rules out plenty amps on the market with the 4000 watt claim as they only good for burps

as well as for that kinda power you are definatly looking into the 10k and above range

quantum makes a 4000 watt amp i think

price will definatly be less than 6k not sure on the performance though

find out what impedances you will be running and see if you could get a pair of strappable amps that add up to the RMS you need
These will be easier to find and you will have a better guarantee on ur power output, plus you might end up getting ur 4000W rms for cheaper Wink

if you are lookin for 2 ohm stable -> the Crossfire VR4000D

saw one for sale some time aback in the car audio classifieds.

the Crossfire VR4000D and the RF T4000 are excellent choices! with the crossfire, you just have to re-wire your speakers for 2-ohm operation.. (if possible..)

^^ and if you could feed it 14.4V you will get in excess of 4900W rms

4000W rms is the 13.8V rating

well it look like what written on my six crossfire 4000d boxes an on my 2 1202 boxes is a lie. i thought crossfire said all there amps are rated at 12.5 but due to unregulated power supplies you can expect a 15%-20% increase in power from 13.8-14.4 voltsout of all crossfire amps. an 6300 rms at 16 volts
