I believe dat when using the vtec controller u wont have control over each induvidual cams. Instead they would engage at the same time. Well das what i understand, anyone willing to confirm this.

Quote:

yes it would work only u would have to switch on the both cams at the same time (which worked better for me) and with the mss u could have it switch one cam a time

bsically ur vvl vtec mivec is all switched on by a combination of rpm,oil pressure and tps
so once a unit would work for one make of engine it would work for all

i said that earlier

AZIS, here's my million dollar question...If you set the shift light to what ever rpm u want to activate the vvl, then how is the tach with light useful for when the car reaches it's maximum rpm to change into another gear?

thats where the problem starts cause it's a original setup
i've heard people say when u disconnect the wire from the ecu the engine wont start
but this solution is for guys out there who did a conversion and the engine came with an automatic tranny and they are using a gearbox and vice versa

Azis, i have another great question 4 u; with the Greddy MSS isn't it possible to turbo the vvl with at least 7psi?

Now if you're using the tach light Very Happy , can you still go about turboing the vvl with 7psi safely? Can the tach together with a JIM WOLF BRAIN manage the vvl and turbo on the engine?

^^^^ what would the greddy mss do for you that the tach hooked up to the solenoids wont do when it comes to boost ?????????

Nothing.

the both is operating as the same thing except if you hook up the two solenoids on one of the mss switches u would have an extra switch to use probably for a water spray nozzle for ur intercooler or for a extra cooling fan
