allyuh i wanna upgrade the VQ30DE, i wanted to boost it but it's really expensive...
according to my source in the states...this is the info i got...
"YES WE DO HAVE THOSE TURBOS. WE SUPPLY THE VQ30DE WITH A T 28 TURBO AND THE KIT COMES COMPLETE AND WE HAVE IN STOCK. PRICE OF THE KIT IS $2330.00 PLUS FREIGHT."
good price seeing as you get everything with it... great horsepower gains to...
"WE SEND THE UNITS OUT SET AT 6 LBS. OF BOOST. WITH AN EXTREEM KIT WITH INTERCOOLER YOU WILL APPROXIMATELY 40% INCREASE IN HORESPOWER. FOR INSTANCE IF YOUR MOTOR IS PUTTING OUT 150 H/P THEN THE INCREASE WOULD BE 60 H/P SO THE TOTAL WOULD BE 210 H/P.
IF YOU CHANGE PARTS IN THE MOTOR SO YOU CAN RUN 12 LBS. OF BOOST YOU WOULD THEN INCREASE BY 80% OR 120 H/P GAIN TOTAL OF 270 H/P."
not bad seeing as this VQ30DE has a stock hp at 227hp... |

Well fellas i have hugh news!!!!!!!!
she F**ing START!!!! my word if you hear that sucker rumble, at idle sounds like a regular VQ but when u mash it sounds exactly like a 350Z and well i took it for a spin.... all i can say is now i know what it feels like to drive a car with power yes!!! pulls like a beyotch an i didn't even floor it yet..... feels like the tires want to break lose on acceleration, i actually had to back off, felt frightened at a point yes......
some minor things to sort out as after i took it for a run it started to smoke white, not sure what it is as yet, spoke to someone who told me check plugs and injectors... also it was spitting raw fuel out the exhaust |

This happended while the car was @ idle or while being driven... If it is at idle then the valve seals just need some time to soften up a bit due to lack as the engine is parked up. |

The shock buffer is the rubber on top the shock that prevents the strut from hitting the top of the shock by the body where it is bolted onto. small $$ for the rubber but your whole shock has to come out to change it.
The knuckle joint also called the "rack end" it the shaft that your steering ends connect to that goes into the steering rack.
both rack end(knuckle joint) and steering ends expensive in massy. Check motorist marabella or another dealer if u don't want original parts. |

Ok guys, I need some help......
1. I need 3 engine mount, left right and front. Prices in neal and massey is going for about 3 grand for the three and the front and back carries electronic sensors so I cant use replacements. I am looking at some online at shops in the states for good prices but I am not seeing any sensors on the front and rear.
2. I would like to get some more HP.....I cleaned out my injectors last week and i think I lost some freaking POWER... A friend with his lancer, I think CS3 I couldnt pass....craziness...Is there any possibility of upgrade, maybe chipwork or something but i wanna keep the originality of the car.
I have the A33 year 2000 model.
Guys i would like to get some assistance here....
Thanks |

U can get replacements for the front and rear mounts without sensors and it would work but u WILL get more vibration in the car as it's aftermarket mounts.
secondly how did u clean your injectors??? also what condition are your plugs and air filter??? need more info on that.
u can order the mounts from a site i just ordered some parts from, i will try and locate the part#'s so u can make sure it's the exact for your car.
the website is http://www.everythingnissan.com/ |

| dont know if u could tune it for performance.......maybe a tuner could help you wit the use of an e-manage blue........might get 20hp at the most out of that, but with the minor upgrades like intake, headers, exhaust the tune could help. i dont know i just throwing out ideas. |

Yeah they do and i used my local address as my billing address till i add my skybox to my CC account.
The thing is they ship using fedex so if u have the cash u can get fedex to deliver it to trini if u don't have a skybox but its gonna cost u. |

Ok i usually take them out and clean them(only for the mechanically inclined). works for me. clean yur throttle body and IACV(idle air control valve), give it a good spray out and u should be good to go. there isn't much u can do with the existing components once they working good to get more power, if u really want more performance u will have to do what cacasplat said. |

well i changed the cradles, steering ends and knuckle joints, also installed the new energy suspension bushings....the bushings make the ride a little stiffer, but not harsh......on bumps or depressions where i would normally slow down to keep the back of the car from bouncing all over, it keeps it steady and neat.......great upgrade from the stock fluid filled ones....... |

Well fellas i finally get the gremlins sorted out!!! Got the parts i ordered from the Nissan site i posted above. Cost me $186.46 to clr, most of which is shipping. In all i saved $1000 by ordering it online as opposed to buying from massey. The parts are original with warranty everything.
I changed all the o-rings(all 12) on all the injectors and fuel pressure regulator, cleaned the injectors, put in the iridium plugs and mounted back everything.
Started it and let it idle, it no longer spits raw fuel out the exhaust and it no longer misfires. but it did smoke out all the mosquitoes for a good 5 mins
took it for a spin, first order of business was to get gas, after i had fun!!!
fellas, it feels good!!! power on demand!!! imagine it actually spins both front wheels from a standstill if u floor it!! no using footbrakes or 1 foot on the brakes and 1 foot on the gas.... jus sink it in D and is real tires for the whole first gear!!
Still have some electricals to sort out but she wucking. Look for me at a track in the new yr...
thanks for the support fellas... |

having some issues right now........brakes spongy....and i bleed them a couple months ago, the throttle body is sticking....so sometimes i have to literally kick the pedal for it to un-jam......its only happening in the closed position, so it not so bad.......will try to sort that out tomorrow......
besides that........going to change coolant(with a block drain), engine oil, have to change the front windescreen as well....... |

^^^i suspect that is what cause the problem. when the ppl took out the manifold to change the rocker arm cover gasket they clean the TB with gumsolve or Bar's cab spray.....which doesnt lubricate, it just cleans........they should have used TB cleaner that has a lubricant........still eh get time to go get a bottle and try it......hoping it works |
