Dread right now i real depressed!!! is by masterserv it went to wire up and never did after 4 weeks.
my mech came today to try an unlock the ecu only to realise the ecu not powering on on its own, which means to say salt!!!
Now they have to run through all the wiring related to the ecu to see where the problem is!!!!
i real depressed cause they can't start to work on it till first week in october |

oil: 10W30 Mobil1
change the coolant
change the tranny oil too...quaker state.
i do almost everything myself, change shocks, pads, rotors, oil(tranny and engine), plugs....
all u need is a good set of tools, and u score.
within these 30 pages it have a lot of info, ah good bit of old talk....but real good info......plenty of which came out of rodney cuz of his swap.......i still wishing him luck though
i want to put up a list of available aftermarket parts(but not getting the time)......most are for the 3.0l, but a lot of them are compatible with the 2.0l |

^^^^^^any progress?
cheese pie, rodney's right....most of the other owners just ask questions that have been answered...if they took the time like u, it would have less threads on tuner
i still have the bushings to install.......want to go back to 15's, might go 19's when i buy rims(prob after a year), but would be on a Tokico lowered suspension. Rodney T, u ever got the Tokico adjustable kit? |

jah fork ah now reach page 15 lol , any hows i took your advice cacasplat 3, i bought the mobil 1 10w30 an air filter (fram) oil fiter ( fram), and some NGK spark plugs. I also ordered a fuel fiter from massey ( will get it on friday) just 200 dollars. well its not massey as such but the motorist right in couva , i used to go there for parts for my accent, now i going to buy parts for my new car right there lol
so i will buy a K&N but not right now , early next year or so ,
i dont beleive in "cleaning" injectors. i prefer to chnage the fuel filter every 50 000 km and use a redline fuel treatment once a month. so although the odomoter says 21000 KM i dont trust it and going to change it anyway. i may just let master serve do it. the plugs , oil and filters i will change myself. thanks for the serivce manual.
guys some really nice info here , ill take some pics when i wash the car and post them up here like you guys did
also i just reaised today that i have a 10 disc CD changer in the trunk |

take a pic of the new fuel filter.....want to see what its like.
K&N is about $350 from W2J, he more or less gets everything aftermarket that we have in our cars (or what we want to put into it)
if u have platinum NGK's as original, make sure to get the same ones....not just any NGK........
motorist is good to deal with....same prices as massey without the hassle of a chassis number....but if u know someone working in massey u could get a 30% discount if i remember correctly.......
10 disc changer is great.....except it dosent play MP3's if u ever changing the deck.....get a Kenwood unit that will be able to keep using the changer.......
right now my antenna giving real trouble........ah calling massey in the morning.........will post how many million they want for it |

allyuh i wanna upgrade the VQ30DE, i wanted to boost it but it's really expensive...
according to my source in the states...this is the info i got...
"YES WE DO HAVE THOSE TURBOS. WE SUPPLY THE VQ30DE WITH A T 28 TURBO AND THE KIT COMES COMPLETE AND WE HAVE IN STOCK. PRICE OF THE KIT IS $2330.00 PLUS FREIGHT."
good price seeing as you get everything with it... great horsepower gains to...
"WE SEND THE UNITS OUT SET AT 6 LBS. OF BOOST. WITH AN EXTREEM KIT WITH INTERCOOLER YOU WILL APPROXIMATELY 40% INCREASE IN HORESPOWER. FOR INSTANCE IF YOUR MOTOR IS PUTTING OUT 150 H/P THEN THE INCREASE WOULD BE 60 H/P SO THE TOTAL WOULD BE 210 H/P.
IF YOU CHANGE PARTS IN THE MOTOR SO YOU CAN RUN 12 LBS. OF BOOST YOU WOULD THEN INCREASE BY 80% OR 120 H/P GAIN TOTAL OF 270 H/P."
not bad seeing as this VQ30DE has a stock hp at 227hp... |

Well fellas i have hugh news!!!!!!!!
she F**ing START!!!! my word if you hear that sucker rumble, at idle sounds like a regular VQ but when u mash it sounds exactly like a 350Z and well i took it for a spin.... all i can say is now i know what it feels like to drive a car with power yes!!! pulls like a beyotch an i didn't even floor it yet..... feels like the tires want to break lose on acceleration, i actually had to back off, felt frightened at a point yes......
some minor things to sort out as after i took it for a run it started to smoke white, not sure what it is as yet, spoke to someone who told me check plugs and injectors... also it was spitting raw fuel out the exhaust |

This happended while the car was @ idle or while being driven... If it is at idle then the valve seals just need some time to soften up a bit due to lack as the engine is parked up. |

The shock buffer is the rubber on top the shock that prevents the strut from hitting the top of the shock by the body where it is bolted onto. small $$ for the rubber but your whole shock has to come out to change it.
The knuckle joint also called the "rack end" it the shaft that your steering ends connect to that goes into the steering rack.
both rack end(knuckle joint) and steering ends expensive in massy. Check motorist marabella or another dealer if u don't want original parts. |
