rodney wah swirl effect?
first time i hear bout this.
anyways, if u put up ah aftermarket radiator u'll need to get a tranny cooler cuz aftermarket radiators dont usually come with ports for the tranny oil. which is a good thing, cuz it lowers cooling water temperature by a few degrees.
and wah 2sp fan? mine have on and off to the best of my knowledge
this car have way too much things to keep track off. all in all i eh go lie, its ah GREAT car
aye wah is the recommended oil change interval for the tranny? and how do u drain the converter? |

^^u neva open yuh rad when yuh car on an see how de water does come out the top hose??? It has a swirl effect.
The car has a low sp fan and high sp fan. Low speed comes on at 95degrees, can't remember wha temp the high sp fan comes on at. have to look at the FSM an see.
I read tranny fluid should be changed at 30000K intervals. I did a machine flush by masterserv already when i got the car. The machine flush is the only way to get the fluid out of your TC, well short of takin down the tranny anyway. An i no u eh doing that jus to change your fluid!!! |

^^^^30,000 yuh say. hmmmmmm
looks like i over due but the oil shows absolutely no sign of discolouration.
well i eh pulling down no tranny for ah oil change. to change spark plugs is stress i could only imagine for the tranny.
how much the flush cost?
talking bout spark plugs, u ever changed yours? when i changed mine, reaching the plugs in the back bank was stress. cuz the coil pack connectors wasent coming off. that take about 2 hours to change all 6 plugs |

ssry for the double post
but does your car have a kind ah u-shaped hose close to where your tranny dip stick is? i think its like a vent for the tranny. i'm not sure i was wondering if air flows in or out of the hose. |

Well that is de stress part. I bought my own fluid(quaker state ATF+3) and the change itself was a lil over $100. BUT u need 10 quarts(i sheit u not) if u going this route. If u jus doin a flush it's about 7-8 quarts.
I neva change my plugs, jus a clean an regap. it not that hard to come off, jus doh lose the screws for the back coil plugs or u in sheit. An trust me they can fall easily.
IN the new engine i have to take off the intake manifold to get to the no#3 cylinder in the back as the intake passes directly over it. better do it while engine out yes, less stress an more room to work with. |

It's a air vent. yeah my car has it. Air comes out. When i had the B14 fluid used to come out also. |

10 quarts u say? dias not ah tranny is ah barrel
when i drained and re-filled i think i used 5 or 6 quarts for the most. same quaker state atf 3. i may do the flush before i go abroad early next year.
and yea i know wah u saying bout the coil pack screws. that is pressure.
u sure you HAVE to take off the manifold? it must have ah easier way to get it out.
well it supposed to have an easier way, and if i does, i sure u go figure it out AFTER u take off the manifold
thanks for the info bout the vent, i always wanted ah definite answer.
well laughlin and degannes aint find the problem in the suspension. i'll have to carry it back on friday to see if they can sort it out. |

i always heard that the bosch was better then the NGK but i dont know how true it is. i personally would stick to NGK platinum. |

yuh still eh fix it?
yuh moving slack man. that is serious thing, especially with this rain.
i does depend on mine a lot.
heading west on wriston rd. by the fire station, on the left lane. traffic on the right. ah man swings across from the oncoming traffic straight across into my lane without looking. stick meh horn; mash ah hard brakes, end up in the fire station yard . if he did hit meh car, i would ah reverse and bounce him fuh spite |

so i pull off the right side front wheel to take off meh brake pad to get the outline. so after i done, i say i go check out the suspension since the car jacked up already. i get under it and notice oil on one of the O2 sensors, then i realize where it coming from. the power-steering pump. so is either one of 2 things. the pump leaking sumwhere or the hose, that had sum oil sweating on it, coming from the power steering oil bottle. some ah the oil prob run down onto the pump via the hose and wet up the entire pump. to take off the pump is stress so i want to make sure i have the real problem before i go fixing anything.
so now i going to get the outline for the rear pads now. so i take off the wheel only to find that when i remove the caliper that the piston booth rubber had torn, and water and dust get on the piston and now the piston has rust forming on it. i HAVE to sort out that soon, cuz that could cause problems.
will carry the outlines to W2J sometime to get a quote on prices. |
