^^^^ the best thing i would think is the 1/4 mile. if the suspension is tuned properly, like good dampers and springs, sway bars, strut bars and if u could get, poly bushings. with all this and ah lil less weight the car wouldnt do bad at dex.
wagonrunner,as for rally well that go be real kixx
rodney does the tranny that came with the engine have LSD? would be a plus if it did.
chiney wah is the new with your car?
u ever saw the blue A32 with the cross drilled rotors? the car has a straight through muffler too. silent at idle but when they press. talk bout sweetness
is not rice, cuz it not loud and ah cyah get over how sweet the VQ's sound |

cacasplat3,
things with p/w at dex tend to have AWD - handling advantage.

Allyuh gettin kicks on meh eh.....
fellas presha with the install yes. Won't be done till nex mth because it would take longer than originally expected. reason being they(mech an elec) came yest to take out engine from shell and that part went fine, within an hr an a half they had the engine unbolted with harness an ECM.
Then came the hard part.
The accelerator has a sensor on it which sends a signal to the ECM to regulate engine speed accordin to how u mash. Right!!
Well there are 6 wires on the accelerator harness which had to be traced back to their destination. This is the F**ed up part. They had to scrap the entire and i mean entire dashboard to get those 6 wires. Now when i say entire i mean steering columm, instrument cluster, ac vents, the entire thing. When they were done u can see the frame of the body. And they say they have to scrap my dash to install it. Talk about stress!!! Took about 2-3 hrs to scrap. Now this is with a front half with no windscreen, no doors, seats, no roof. Now imagine a car with the full interior to scrap to get room to work!!!
I not tryin to guess how much i will pay in labour costs. So with that in mind they said it would take more 2 weeks as they have full time jobs, so i tell them after christmas.
Presha!!!
Wagonrunner i will take yuh advice. Will prob look at circuit or not bother to race at all. |

should be around the same gains as a CAI i think. Changing the barrel by itself will not do much for you without an increase in pipe size or a straight flow exhaust. |

^^^ damn i would ah have to hold till end ah april
chiney wah barrel u talking bout? the silencer at the back? yea boi one huge piece ah metal built by Calsonic
i was talking to a respectable tuner, he said that the stock piping size is good for about another 50 crank horsepower. so i doh think that bigger piping is needed, all u may need to do is get rid of the U bend that passes over the back banjo. that right there is robing you of about 3 hp, cuz the piping was crush bended, and thats 3 bends back to back
removing the cat, the resonator and the silencer by itself should give sum improvement. i cant say about fuel economy, sum ppl say that it increases economy while others say it reduces it. i'm under the impression that if u dont over do it(too big piping) you could see added gas mileage.
its not an expensive mod, seeing that the most expensive thing to be bought would be the new barrel, a good one could cost about $800. i was reading an article that said, if choosing a straight through design, stay away from the ones that have little fins sticking out into the gas stream(like the inside of the oil filter) this causes some back pressure as well.
right now i have sumthing knocking in the suspension, i hope is not meh cradle, i praying is meh shock mount. mom's using the car today she might drop it off by laughlin and degannes to check it |

Actually it didn't come with with anything from in front as it apparantly got hit. I using back my original radiator. No coolong problems foreseen cause even though it's a single cor rad, it has a 2 sp fan, and AFAIK all nissan cars now coming with single core rad.
Someone explained to me a while back not to interfere with the stock rad because puttin in an bigger rad would upset the "swirl effect" of the water that comes out of the upper hose. |
