well i wah go rwd too, but i cyah see that happening soon though, so i go see bout the fwd for the time. i thinking either sr20det or sr20ve, most likely it'll be det, with some suspension, brakes and mabey sum engine mods.
as for he intake, is cold or short ram? boi i see ah intake selling on e-bay for the car after i bought my K&N cone filter, doh forget, when u doing the intake, put the air temp sensor after the air flow, it minamises the chance of turbalance in the air stream thus preventing the air flow meter from taking wrong readings. Wink

so u doh have ah air tem sensor?
hmmmmmm, well when i put in the K&N i had to find a new place for the sensor, cuz it was placed before the airbox, so i had to cut a hole further down the intake, extend the wire and relocate the sensor. too much work for a simple job. Neutral

dat eh plenty work.. jus doe screw it up..

the intake i gonna do requires me to take out the complete air intake system and replace it with 3" piping... the sensor staying on wat its on..gonna use adapters to join it to the piping ...

as som1 in my other thread said.. cleaner flow of air to the TB....

not cleaner air eh!

Didn't u use a drop in filter??

i did and didn't move my air intake temp sensor. I think there is a reason they put it before the filter.

yea i know how it could be.
before i put in the filter, i went by a mech in sando, didnt know him before though(i was sent there by a guy working for sheriff's) guy had a lot of fast cars by his place(ah couple rx7's ah evo7 and ah r34 gtr v-spec II Twisted Evil )
so i got the impression that he knew what he was talking about, when he said to keep it in the intake track. also on top of that i e-mailed K&N with numerous pictures, and info on the car, they also advised me to keep it in the air track, so i did, and soo far no problems. Wink

well if i putting in ah cone filter, i cyah put it before, so it had to be after the filter, so what i did, was cut the hole in the intake, just before the trottle body and placed it there. Wink

for a reason too, if the temp was b4 the MAF it would cause turbulance in the air path, causing the MAF to get wrong readings. Wink

^^^^ well that's what i was told by K&N in an e-mail and also by andy from mini city in valpark(where i got the filter) i didnt want to risk it, so i did as they advised me.

i never really did any research on it, but seeing that the original location of the air temp. sensor was being removed, i had to put it back into the intake somehow, so i put it after the MAF as advised.

the mech capable. reason i couldnt get the car done today was cuz he had about 12 cars in the yard, and he just did 2 swaps, and a 3rd was in progress. he is ah boss mech.
i hope i eh have to go through ah alternator removal. that thing in one queer place.

when my old man brought home the far the first time, b4 i popped the hood he said "boi it eh have space fuh ah screwdriver"
the man eh lie yes.
alluh ever try changing fan belts? the one in the back, not the one fuh the AC compressor. the other one? i have no clue where the ajuster is for it, so i ended up leaving its ass right there. changing the other one was ah breeze, but that one is stress.
as fuh the oil leak, it coming from sumwhere behind the oil filter mounting. i thought it was the oil pan at first, so i took it down, cleaned the surface and re-sealed it. leak still persisted, when i gone back under the car i see where it coming from. i think is sum o-ring or sumthing in the oil pump.
monday i'll know
