VQ boys......parts, problems, upgrades, swaps, boost

well it confirmed i going diesel. should get it in 2 weeks, mabey a lil more, i still have to go test drive and see which is the most comfortable, and which has the better response for highway use.

rodney the brakes sounding like ah plan, i think hawks is enough for me Mr. Green

i changed ah battery about 15 months ago, cuz i never maintained it. carried it to L&D and they were checking the suspension, next thing i know it wont start, turned out to be no water n the cells, and it need replacing. since then i've been using a rocket, no probles at all. starts in one

saw ah box lancer today, thinking about buying it and putting in an SR20DET Twisted Evil

but thats a next story Laughing

chiney now self i go feel slow round fellas like alluh, u say u go be sneezing and rodney get ah 75% bigger engine Crying or Very sad

mobil 1 is expensive, but its manufacturer recomended, so i'll stick with it. Exclamation

there arent much cars that can hold that engine, best bet would be sumthing with a big bonnet, no B12's or B13's Laughing

i want to get the intake up by the end of the weekend, my main problem is time Neutral

clean up yur sensors, brake dust is usually the problem, take off the wheels, remove the calipers, then take off the rotors, now u should be seeing the sensor, clean it with sum water or sumthing, try to use sumthing that wont leave a resedue. i never had the problem, but i've heard that the ABS system could go bad after sumtime.

Chiney, it yuh ABS light on it is 90% sensor. Carry it by someone who has a computer that can check the ABS system(not check for general codes) and it will tell u exactly what wrong. Secret(carry it by masterserve in south, they can carry it by massey to get it checked) Wink

I getin the hawk Front disc pads for $64.62US. ot sure how much to ship and duty but i believe u will still come out cheaper than OEM. W2J say he can order them not sure how much. an yes chiney they have for your car also.

alluh making meh jelous, the only thing that does want to run me is ah set ah freaking civic and almera, well is level cut ass, but it not fun anymore Neutral

i leave ah 2006 1.6 impreza like nothing, but speed cut kick in, but i was still too fast

chiney, best thing to do is like rodney said, carry by sumone who knows bout it Neutral

i doh play with that ABS thing, cuz it come in a lot on the highway.

rodney, it have ah couple ah 3.0's around, seen about 3 or 4 already, most of them were blue. saw ah couple 2.5's too, but i never tried to run any, cuz i know i go get meh ass handed to meh Crying or Very sad

i saw this white A32 recently, with flair kits and chromes, tint to block ah nuclear explosion Laughing

i doh like chromes, but the car looked sweet Twisted Evil

i going by W2J on monday, i'll talk to him about the pads, see what is the final costs.
all the silicone hoses should be shipped out from the US today, so it should be here buy friday, i would collect them on monday.

looking to mabey get a new set of rims soon. dont know how that would work out, but DAMN! the new primera has a nice set Mr. Green

if i could get $4000 for the set with the tires i'll take it, tires not in the best condition, but they work.

doing sum reading about supercharger kits. real funny that they arent really universal like building turbo kits. supercharging would be easier, exhaust wise and piping too. simpler mod as well.

a tuner from south was telling me that there is a kit for the car, i know there are kits for the 3.0's and 3.5's but i dont know bout the 2.0's
i guess the majour difference would be boost levels and ecu tuning/mapping Confused

hmmmmmm, seen sum pieces of pipe and it looked just like that, no paint. just bare aluminum. anyways about the actuator, i wonder what really happens. cuz out manifold has a similar actuator but on the other side. i guess the one on ours is for the VIAS system or whatever. i never really reved the engine and looked at it. i looking to switch to purlator, but i cyah get one to fit.
anyways i'm off to get meh vent filter, coolant and to find ah good oil filter for the next oil change(since i wont be in trinidad when it due Laughing

the coolant is stress, i eh flushing out, i just going to add the extras. i find out that purlator doh make filters for the car, so i end up getting sumthing made in thiland Confused

the vent filter is like gold, no-one in south has the size, i guess i just have to order it Neutral
