the a32 came with cold air hoss.. as well as yours.. if we took out the filter and used ah K&N drop in.. i am SURE.. that the performance wuda be around the same..
|
wah u talking bout? the 'usless box' thing?
anyhow, the airbox causes too much restriction, cuz apart from the filter being in there, at the box the air path makes an almost 180* bend, i glad i take out that thing yes. but i still unsure wah u talking bout, so describe it.
as for the 3.5l it go be real nice to have it but its a lot of work, to get the same hp as a sr20det, so to me it doh make much sense. |

d00d..
the normal drop in is ah BIG BIG hold back...
the K&N will ALLOW better air flow..
and the car gets the air from infront the car.. jus right by hood space in front...
so wen you driving.. is only cold air gettin into that vent. |

cacasplat3, I eh find out more bout the headers yet. I sending the guy a e-mail to ask him if we jus put in a cat back exhaust (from the y-pipe to muffler) if it will make a difference.
Other than that, i starting my project already. ordered some lowering springs, bought a oil pressure gauge, voltage gauge to come, bought an piggy back ECU this morning, still to get meh laptop and diagnostics software.
Will let u guys no how it comes along when i get around to installing everything. Cleaned out the K&N drop in this weekend. car burning considerable less gas an running smoother. Also cacasplat3,if u getting trouble with your tranny let me no. Changed a sensor in mine this weekend that used to cause the tranny to not shift gears. sensor was $825. for a small piece ah ting.
Also had the mechanic check out the front ends, well boy is pressure!!! link bolts bad. front crossmember mount bad. steering ends bad. shock mount buss. take bout pressure. an i thought the car was wuckin good.
i asked him bout the mounts an he said is the front and rear crossmember engine mounts that have the sensors on them, unfortunately for me i have to buy one, fortunately it's not the $5000 i originally told u. He now say is $1500. for one. |

already i've changed both front shock heads, (one is busted now), steering ends,2 front shocks, ah fanbelt, ah left front cradel, pair of stabaliser bar linkages, stabaliser bar rubbers and the speed sensor.
my engine mounts not giving any troube at all, although they buss, i say i eh doing nothing with it until it have to must to change it.
just got meh pm from the fella i buying the strut bar from, he say it may take ah couple weeks, cuz it on backorder.
wah piggyback ECU u using, ah price and where u get it. i wah know.
i eh going drop springs, i wah coilovers and done, i get ah quote for $9,500. plenty money so i go make ah suitcase special next time i go to the US
if u use the cat back alone it should give sum results, cuz u go only have the muffler on the pipe, but u go be in for sum noise.
chiney how the car runing? |

cacasplat3, i come across this site that have a few parts for the A32 & 33 including a coilover system for $800US.
http://www.paradox-systems.com/index.php
Best stick with NGK for nissan engines. Been proven to work better. Heard the "nissan engines" don't work well with denso. Been discussed many times on the forum. Will see if i can dig any up. |
