installers after sanding down the ground location on the engine chassis what do yal use to cover the the area to prevent rusting etc that wil hold up to the heat of the engine?

the terminal lug or terminal ring or whatever u are using to secure the ground wire for that matter.....not like yur sanding the whole car. lol

there are a few products you can use, the easiest to get is lithium spray grease. and yes shaks, if the spot you grind off isnt protected, it will rust.

not stinger bro ^^^ - other brands maybe but lowest series 0g in stinger is $22 / FOOT ! , it have some higher priced too ........ #Fade in

sound and security have directed 4awg for $10...

call and see if they have 0awg in stock..

4 gauge fine strand is sufficient
after connections are made coat exposed surfaces with electrical grease
the same that is used on battery terminals

get the stinger 0 gauge, i've used 3 other brands of 0 gauge so far - none has more wire strands than d stinger... at 22-25/ft bess price Shocked

How much strands does Stinger has? Elemental Designs eNetic 0 guage has 4459 strands of high quality oxygen free copper.

everybody who boasts about more strands etc

nobody does tell yuh bout the cost

lets see

audio pipe 0 gauge probably has the same strands as say a stinger high end 4 gauge or even less

i use Jl audio 2 gauge and it has more strands than most of the 0gauge on the market presently and is more flexible and easier to work with than the others
however the cost is probably almost twice as the 0 gauge

right so diff brands have diff # of strands for the same class of wire s0 is more strands better or can that be a bad thing sometimes - im thinking good > more juice...

JL n KnuKonceptz have over 5000 strands but the price... so for best price/strand ratio i say stinger Embarassed
