You could ask for it. I didn't know it had one until someone mentioned it here.
But I was happy when I heard I didn't have to pay labour cost in this service.
A man am doing some work for this morning told me tht on his last service his bill was $3000+ on his hilux and he had left it for 2 days. I think it was the 60K service.
He said after the warranty he's not going there again. But he also looking to sell the van. when yuh rich eh. |

Halfbreed Michelin tyres goes on sale regulary. If you can wait a bit, check them out on sale ... I believe it's about 20% off regular prices.
Any diesel Tucson owners here? Any problems? Is it worth the price difference? |

I haven't seen DW and SS007 around in quite some time
I believe they have diesel vehicles and had no problems. |

Running the Diesel GLS nearly 2Yrs now, just over 70K..no problems.
For the distance I have to cover some times, and what I used to spend on fuel costs, I made back the price difference in price already through fuel savings |

| I think it has a place on Cipero Street where you can get the Tucson accessories. In fact I think that Neal and Massy actually carries the Tucsons to put the accessories and then marks up the price on you. I can't remember the name of the place right now though. |

I know this is a Tucson thread, but we're about to get a diesel Sportage. I find both vehicles very similar. Unfortunately Southern Sales didn't bring any of the newer models with ABS and rear disc brakes so we settled on the older model.
Will be posting short reviews as well as questions as time goes by. |

What's the price difference? Can you confirm? (We're getting fleet pre-budget prices and it's about $10 000 more)
A good friend has a Diesel Sportage .... they take good care of their ride and haven't had any problems so far.
My only concern is the quality of diesel we get here in Trinidad. All the newer diesel (utilizing common rail technology) engines are prone to minor problems because of this. |

Just under 2Yrs had the vehicle, just under 80k, no problems so far (knock on wood)
I have a friend who bought one second hand(local used), the Diesel GL model and no problem with his; that model was a PCA I think.
The CRDi engine is picky when it comes to the quality of the fuel, cant help that, but with regular preventative maintenance, it is manageable. Generally I fuel up at only certain service stations and use a fuel conditioner once every 3 fill ups. |
